Established in 2002, we offer a variety of healing modalities such as acupuncture, massage therapy, herbal medicine and exercise classes to help you achieve optimal health. Our practitioners are highly trained and experienced to provide you with knowledgable and safe care.

Our Team

Stephen Eggleston, L.Ac., Dipl OM, MTCM

Stephen, owner of Pacific Healing Arts, received his degree in Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in 2003. His education included extensive training in acupuncture techniques, herbal medicine formulation, Chinese medical theory and western medical theory. Following this training he completed a year long specialty in western internal medicine for acupuncturists.


Deva Cassandra, L.Ac., MTCM

During her mid-twenties Deva dedicated time to learning how to identify, cultivate and make medicine out of native plants. She attended the professional and clinical herbalist programs at Pacific School of Botanical Medicine and the Blue Otter School for Herbal Medicine. During this time she also trained in swedish and shiatsu massage where she was often told to have healing hands.


Lee Holden, L.Ac., MTCM

Lee Holden is an internationally known instructor in meditation, tai chi, and qi gong, lecturing and teaching workshops in the United States, Europe, and Asia.


Cathy Defino-Harvey, CMT

Cathy brings 20+ years of experience to her bodywork practice. Her healing modalities include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Chi Nei Tsang, Reiki and Qi Gong. Cathy believes in creating the time and space to slow down, get quiet and go within. A massage is the perfect way to do just that.With our busy, fast-paced lives it is even more crucial that we incorporate regular bodywork into our lives.


Shannon Brown, CMT

A 2004 graduate of New School for Massage, Brown has obtained her certification from the State of California (CMT), the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB) and the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (MBLEX). Shannon has certification in Bodywork for the Childbearing Years as well as being a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. Throughout her career, Shannon has taught at Chicago's New School for Massage, and Five Branches in Santa Cruz, California.


Lisa Garratt, CMT

Lisa takes pride in bringing the mindfulness of her studies and practices of yoga, meditation, and massage to her work as a massage therapist. Her massage sessions are based on the various modalities that she studied and her understanding of body assesxsent through years of teaching yoga. Techniques include: Deep Tissue, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Traditional Anma massage, Lotus Hands, Swedish, Acupressure, Reflexology, Dynamic Stretching and Mobilization, and Aromatherapy Lymphatic Massage. Lisa has also studied Polarity and Cranial Sacral Therapy as well as Rolfing techniques.
